Meet Spencerville TNR: a small, volunteer-run cat rescue we've just partnered with. Starting this month, a portion of every order helps fund their work directly — and we want to show you exactly what your tees are helping pay for. Every photo below is shared with their kind permission, and credited to Spencerville TNR.
Who They Are
Spencerville TNR is run almost entirely by volunteers and fosters. No offices, no staff — just a handful of people, a van full of carriers, and a lot of early mornings.
Their work is called TNR: trap, neuter, return. They humanely trap the cats living in a colony, get them spayed or neutered and treated, and return the healthy ones to a managed spot with shelter and someone feeding them. The friendly ones, and the kittens, find homes.
It's the single most effective thing anyone can do for street cats. A colony that gets fixed stops growing. One that's left alone never does.
The Work, By the Numbers
They spay or neuter around 700 cats a year. Every single week, a run to the vet with a dozen cats or more packed into carriers.
That's not a fundraiser or a one-time push. It's Tuesday. Then it's the next Tuesday. The same quiet, unglamorous work, over and over — the kind that actually moves the number.

One Cat, Two Photos
This is the part that stays with you. Here's a cat they pulled in earlier this year — an eye infection so bad he could barely see, dehydrated, and done fighting. This is the day he came in.
And here he is a few weeks later. Same cat. A vet visit, a warm place, and someone who showed up for him.
Those few weeks cost money most small rescues simply don't have.
Some Get the Ending Every Cat Deserves
Not every cat goes back to a colony. The friendly ones — and the ones who've been through too much to send back out — get a shot at a home instead.
Take Ozara and Orianna. These two waited 445 days in foster care — nearly fifteen months — before the right family finally came along. That's fifteen months of someone feeding them, vetting them, and refusing to give up on them. This month, they went home. Together.
