So this month the bowls multiplied. More of them, spaced a little further apart, so the newcomers could eat without crowding the regulars. Here's what July looked like on the ground.

The corners didn't change. The numbers did. Spots that drew four or five cats in spring were pulling a dozen by mid-July.
Our partners adjusted the only way that works: more bowls, set a little apart, so a nervous cat has room to eat and a way out if it needs one.
Nobody gets turned away. If a cat shows up, there's a bowl. That's the whole rule.
