March 2026: More Cats, More Meals

Every photo you're about to see exists because of this community.

Thousands of people who chose a t-shirt. Thousands of small choices that added up to something real on the ground. March was the month the cold finally broke.

And when it did, the cats came back. Faces our partners hadn't seen all winter, looking for food the moment the temperatures lifted. At some stations there were more mouths than bowls, and your purchases made sure every one of them got fed.

Cats Our Partners Hadn't Seen All Winter

When the temperatures drop, a lot of street cats go quiet. They tuck into whatever shelter they can find and ride out the worst of it.

March is when they reappear. Warmer nights, longer days, and suddenly the feeding stations were busier than they had been in months.

Some were regulars coming back after a hard winter, thinner than our partners remembered. Others were brand new, cautious, hanging back and watching the others eat before trusting the bowl.

That moment of trust, a cat deciding it is safe to eat, is something our partners see every single week. Because the food is always there. Because your purchases make sure of it.

More Faces Than Bowls

At a few of the busier stations, our partners ran into a good problem: more cats showed up than they had bowls to fill.

So they adjusted. Earlier starts. Extra portions. A second pass at the spots that needed it most.

Nobody got turned away. Every cat that came looking for food in March found it, reliable and consistent, in the same corners and quiet lots they have learned to trust.

That is what "more cats, more meals" actually means on the ground. Not a slogan. A bigger crowd, and enough to go around.

The Ones Who Came Back

One of our partners recognized a gray tabby from last autumn, a cat that had vanished the moment the cold set in.

She walked straight up to the station in mid-March like no time had passed. Ate her fill. Stayed close.

A few others showed up the same way that month: cats who survived the winter on their own and came back the moment the cold broke, looking for the spot they remembered.

That is what "10 meals per purchase" looks like when it keeps going, month after month. The cats remember. And the food is there waiting.

Every Purchase Helps Us Provide 10 Meals to Abandoned Cats

What happens next

April feeding operations are already scheduled.

The cats who came back to the stations in March are now part of the regular routes again. Our partners are restocking for spring and continuing to coordinate with local fosters.

You'll receive the April update in early May, with a new set of photos from the field.

Every t-shirt, hoodie, or accessory you purchase helps us provide 10 meals to cats in need.
From all of us

Thank you for being part of this.

The cats in these photos are alive and eating because thousands of people decided a t-shirt could mean something more.

You're one of those people.

That matters more than we can say.
