KittyKloset · One Tee Can

You Just Read About Oliver. Here's What Helps the Next One.

You just read how his story ended. This one hasn't ended yet — and that's the only part any of us can still do something about.

The thing about Oliver's story is the empty bowl. It means somebody had fed him before, and he kept coming back to that spot believing they would again.

The difference between that cat and the next one isn't luck. It's whether the bowl keeps getting filled. That's a boring, solvable, unglamorous problem — which is exactly why we can actually do something about it.

How it works

One tee. Ten meals. Photos to prove it.

1

You pick a tee you'd wear anyway

Soft, true-to-size cotton, dozens of cat designs. The kind another cat person spots across a grocery store and instantly gets.

2

A portion of your order becomes 10 real meals

Through our One Tee Can program that food goes to named rescues and street feeders — not a general fund. Real bowls, real corners, every week.

3

You see where it went

Every month we publish photos from the feedings, so "10 meals" isn't a line on a website you have to take on faith.

Where the food actually ends up

This is the question worth asking of any brand that says it gives back, and most of them can't answer it: who, specifically?

Ours goes to small rescues and street feeders who already know the territory — which wall, which alley, which cats show up at dusk. They're the ones answering calls about a cat under a porch, checking parking lots at night, taking in the boxes left by a door.

We fund the least glamorous, most useful part of that: the bowls staying full on a schedule, so the cats who learned to wait somewhere aren't waiting for nothing.

You'll see the cats you fed

Every month, photos from the actual feedings — the cats, the bowls, the streets. Not stock images, not a progress bar on a homepage.

So far this community has helped fund over 600,000 meals. Not one big gesture: 50,000+ people each buying a t-shirt they were going to buy somewhere anyway, and buying it here instead.

Some of those cats get more than dinner out of it. Some get trapped safely, treated, and never have another litter. A few end up in a living room, permanently spoiled.

One tee. 10 meals. One more full bowl, on a night when it might be the thing that matters.

The honest part

I'm not going to tell you a t-shirt saves every cat. It doesn't. I'm not going to tell you one meal fixes anything permanently. It doesn't.

What I keep thinking is smaller than that. What if somebody had filled Oliver's bowl one more time? What if that kept him coming back one more day? What if, during that extra day, the right person had finally noticed him?

I'll never know. But sometimes one more meal isn't just food — it's one more day of being findable. That's a reasonable bet to make with a purchase you were making anyway.

Maybe you've seen an Oliver before

Maybe you passed one under a car. Maybe you left food out once. Maybe there's still one cat you remember for no logical reason at all. We can't go back and fill that bowl. But there's another cat out there tonight whose story isn't finished — and for that one, we're still in time.

Tonight

One tee.
10 meals.
One more full bowl.
One more night.
One more chance for somebody to arrive in time.
